Volunteer
LowCountry Habitat for Humanity could not help partner families realize their dream of homeownership without the help of many dedicated volunteers!
Although most people think immediately of construction when they think of Habitat for Humanity, we also welcome volunteers in our ReStore, at our Wood Shop, in the office, at special events and to serve on our standing committees: Construction, Family Engagement, Finance, Land Acquisition, and Special Events.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer in any of these ways, please complete the Application, Liability Waiver, and Code of Conduct. Once submitted, the volunteer coordinator will reach out to you to discuss your interests and available volunteer opportunities. If you have any questions please email info@lowcountryhabitat.org, or call the office at 843-522-3500.We offer a volunteer orientation at Habitat Night, on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at The Baptist Church of Beaufort. (A-2 Entrance)
Build days are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 8:00am - noon and 1pm - 4pm, with a break for a packed lunch at noon. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on a Habitat construction site. No construction experience is needed as skilled supervision will be provided. If you are an individual or part of a group and would like to get started working on a build site, please email info@lowcountryhabitat.org, or call the office at 843-522-3500.
Come join us and become a part of a global effort to end substandard housing!
