Welcome to Bees Creek Pines!

Above are our three homes in Ridgeland’s Bees Creek Pines Subdivision on their dedications days.

Three homes in the Bees Creek Pines subdivision in Ridgeland, Jasper County, SC, are now completed!

Two of the homes were funded by proceeds from our annual golf tournaments, 140 Colony Drive and 182 Colony Drive. The first of those two was named in honor of long time volunteer, Larry Sanders, who has organized the golf tournaments for many years. The third home at 108 Colony Drive was funded through the generosity of Publix Supermarket Charities.

With these three homes completed, the total number of homes built by

Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry is now 195!

We hope you enjoy the photos below which show the start to finish process of building Habitat homes, along with the incredibly dedicated volunteers and visiting groups who help build these homes.

Thank you to a returning group of volunteers from Oldfield and to the members of Associa, the HOA for Bees Creek Pines where our homes are being built, for coming out to help our regular volunteers and staff build in August! We’re moving right along!

Thank you to Nimmer Turf for the donation of the sod and installation at 182 Colony Drive! And what a team the Sun City Garden Club and students from Lowcountry Montessori made installing the landscaping! Thank you! We can’t forget our regular volunteers who helped get this home ready for its dedication on October 9th! You’re all amazing!

Thank you to the Rotary Club of the Lowcountry, residents of the Four Seasons neighborhood in Bluffton, and students of Lowcountry Montessori for helping to continue the work on our homes in Ridgeland along with our regular volunteers and staff! House #2 at 140 Colony Drive is scheduled for dedication November 19th!

Thank you to the employees of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch who joined our regular volunteers on the job site in November and to the residents of Oldfield who came out to help lay the sod at 108 Colony Drive in December. An extra thank you goes to Bill and Bobbi Weber and to the Dataw Island Garden Club for the landscaping at our final Bees Creek home. The garden club purchased the plants and the Webers got them in the ground and ready for the dedication on December 17th.

We extend a hearty “Thank You” to Nimmer Turf Farm for donating the sod for all three homes!
